My throttle valve cable broke recently and I have since had the engine rebuilt. The transmission was still shifting ok..just at higher RPM's so I didn't know it was broken. Now I only get gears 1 thru 3. Anyway I found the throttle valve bracket on the back of my intake and will soon be replacing the cable.
Does anyone know how the cable will attach to a motorcraft 2 bbl carb, not sure the exact model, I believe it to be stock. I can figure the cable adjustment out but am not sure how it attaches to the throttle body. If anyone has pics, or knows of a site with an adapter I'd appreciate it.
Setup: 700R4 to AMC 360 w/ motorcraft 2bbl.
