Flipping shackles

72 Wag. can you flip the rear shackles?

May be I should rephrase this. The rear leaf springs are above the shackle mount. Can they be inverted? Leaf under.

Another question on the 4" lift for 72 GWAG. Do the leafs come with bushings?
And I do not see any shackle options for a 72.

I did a shackle flip on my '75, which is also post mount. Gives roughly 2.5" of lift, but does point the pinion up quite a bit. Its also a bit stiffer ride as the shackle angle is not correct. The rear axle also gets moved forward some. I would NOT advise doing this if you are going to be using lift springs or blocks.

73 and older Waggies used a different shackle, which is why they are not listed on the site. And bushings are included with the springs.
