Leaf springs getting stuck

Hey everyone, My question is has anyone else had trouble with they're springs getting stuck in the compressed position? I have the 6' lift, and the last couple times i've been out 'froadin my springs/shackles get stuck in the compressed position and i have to take a crowbar and pry them back into positon.

A semi common problem. You can either fab up some lowered bump stops, or put in a slightly longer shackle (the rear spring shackle off a 89-97 chevy 1/2 ton truck works perfectly).

how much "extra" lift will that longer shackle give in the back?

none, it will lower the back unless you have a shackle inversion (generally done to counter a spring over axle lift up front).
