no defrost

need help 89 gwag heater works but no air from the fan if you turn on the ac the blower works fine does this sound like a heater resistor?

The A/C and Heater use 2 separate fans. It sounds like your heater blower motor might be bad (or has a wire disconnected)

ok that could be didnt know there was two seperate fans i know the fuse is good will check into it thanks

ok did some more diggin into this problem, heater motor works but will not come throught the defrosters, messed around with the vacuum hoses and if i take the hoses off the vacuum storage tank and put them back on then it will blow out the defrosters after it starts working i can switch back and forth from heat to defrost, but if i shut the jeep off it wont work until i pull the hoses off and then on again what could it be bad vacuum tank and if so where do i find one

if your vac ball is bad, you'll need to find a decent used one
