I have the Gen I radiator, stock fan, no shroud, stock water pump etc. It is a 1979 Wagoneer w/ 360. Will I need a higher amp alternator for this 23A fan? What is the output of the stock alternator? Can I bolt the fan to the Gen I radiator but use some other type of fastener or do I need to higher a welder? I would hate to have to remove the radiator for this. I want to use the port thermometer if I can. Do you have pictures of it installed?
