Benny, no, this is how it is supposed to be. We were getting a ton of warranty calls as the pem-nuts were getting stripped and also would work loose and spin in their housing, meaning you couldn't get the bolts removed. So we modified the design to use standard GM style body clips. They use 5/16-18 bolts, and the clips are the standard gm type at any autoparts store, 3/4" size is what is written on the box (typically found in the HELP section). We also should be carrying these on our site in the future for folks that order a shroud & fan kit later.
