'79 Wag Exhaust Y Pipe

Does the passenger side of the pipe go to the heat riser, or all the way to the manifold?
If it goes to the heat riser can it be adapted to mate with the manifold? Will the supplied flange and donut mate to the manifold?

The passenger side goes up to the bottom of the heat riser

Looks as though I'll need to find a way to adapt up to the manifold.

What did you end up doing? My heat riser is messed up along with the rest of the exhaust pipes. My idea if I end up using the cross pipe sold here was to gut the heat riser and weld up shaft hole, use it as a spacer. Dose anyone see a problem with that?
