Track Bar Relocation Kit Installation
To install:
First, you must disconnect the track bar from the bracket on the axle (leave the Track-Bar connected to the frame). Place the new track bar extension bracket into the stock bracket on the axle housing with the slotted holes toward the top. Place the 1/2" x 1 1/2" spacer tube inside the bracket (this helps to prevent crushing, see white arrow in image below). Next, install the 1/2" x 3" bolt and washer through the original bracket and into the new bracket and tighten securely with 1/2" lock nut. Now, insert the track bar into the new bracket, and install using the original bolt and nut (do NOT tighten yet). You must drill a 3/8" hole and install the new 3/8" x 1" bolt (see black arrow), washer and nut through the side of the original bracket and the new bracket. Tighten all the track bar bolts and nuts at this time. Repeat this process for the other Track-Bar, as the process is the same for the front as it is for the rear.
