  • Fuel Issues I Think...

The set up: I have the Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Edelbrock ASV off-road carb on the AMC 360 and a Holley red fuel pump.

The Symptoms: The Jeep starts great in the morning when everything is cold and runs without issue until it is turned off. Starting it once everything is warm is a little harder but it does start. It barely idols and tends to stall. After running for a couple minuets it idols fine. Any ideas?

did you check to make sure that the choke is off and the butterflies are open during the hard start / sputtering condition? This can also be a symptom of vapor lock, a heat damper sticking closed, a coil going bad or an ICM going bad.
